British Heritage Dog Breeds

Hello Everyone,

We are Lindsay and David and share our lives with our gorgeous Otterhound Kingstree Reiver (Oscar) who is now two.
We live in Gateshead in the sunny(!) Northeast of England. We are happy to help out where and when we can with promotion and were members of the Native Dogs Breed Trust.

Hi there Lindsey, David and Oscar and welcome from Hilary and I!!!
You will know that you have not only one of the rarest British Heritage Dog Breeds but one of the rarest dog breeds in the world!
We will add your name to our volunteers list and thanks so much for offering your support. Not much happening over the winter months, but do keep an eye on the site for updates and "calls" and for an upcoming article on the Otterhound!

Just wanted to say hello and hope you will post a photo of Otterhound/s. I've always thought they were a beautiful and interesting breed. I met a lady a while ago in the village; like us, she lived on the Forest and said she always walked her 2 Otterhounds on leads as they would race off and not come back - oh dear!!
We have Sussex Spaniels and live right at the bottom i.e. Lyndhurst Hampshire. So we're not likely to bump into each other!
