British Heritage Dog Breeds

Hi, I don't have any native breeds (I'm a poodleholic!) but I am admirer of them all and am very pleased to see this new and exciting website set up to promote our own native breeds. Where possible I will do what i can to further your cause and maybe one day I may indulge and own one myself. There are quite a few I'd be happy with lol!

Don't worry, my first dog was a Poodle - lovely breed. Rest assured that this site in NOT anti foreign breeds, far from it, we welcome participation from all dog lovers. We just feel that we do not want people to forget the amazing selection of dog breeds that come from Great Britain and Ireland and you don't have to own one to support us!
By the way, in addition to a Poodle, I have also owned a G.S.D. and two Great Danes in my life and loved each and every one of them!
