HI everyone,
just a quick posting to let everyone know that I am now back in the land of the living once again, having been hospitalised in December with pneumonia - a month after I was vaccinated against it! Many thanks for your good wishes, messages and cards - much appreciated. This will explain why things have been a bit quiet on BHDB in recent weeks.
I am now raring to go and Hilary and I are actively working on a number of very exciting projects for 2010, we will announce details as and when we can - watch this space.
What we are able to announce is that British Heritage Dog Breeds will be staging a "celebration" of rare British & Irish breeds at Crufts on Saturday March 13th at 13:55pm. For full details, please check out this link:
www.british-heritage-dog-breeds.co.uk/ne...hdb-parade-2010.html
This will be the ONLY event at Crufts to promote what the KC like to call "Vulnerable Breeds" so we will be aiming to make a big impact. Please believe me this is an event not to be missed, it can even reduce grown men to tears! Many of the small details are yet to be finalised, so if you are one of the volunteers for the 20 different breeds taking part, expect some update e-mails from me soon.
It's good to be back!
Paul K
