Pat Munro of the KTBA has passed me details of their fun day in June. A real chance for Kerry owners to meet and for anyone interested in Kerries to get the lowdown on this unique breed.
ITINERY - KBTA FUN DAY WITH THE LAKELAND TERRIER SOCIETY - SUNDAY 13 JUNE 2010
(Times are approximate & may vary slightly)
1. 10.00 am Untrimmed class
2. * 10.10 am Trimming of your dogs by 4-6 people – grooming under
supervision can be arranged if preferred. (If required,
demonstration on showing your Kerry) coat, ear & teeth care information/ instruction by breed experts will be given if required.
3. * 10.10 am Good Citizen Bronze Award will also commence at this time &
will continue throughout the day.
4. 11.45 am/12 pm Veteran class (all receive a prize)
5. 11.50/12.05 pm Puppy class (all receive a prize)
6. 12.00/12.15 pm Footpath walk - supervised.
7. 12.45/1.00 pm Barbecue - on return from walk
8. 2.00 pm Pet Rescue Class (all receive a prize)
9. 2.05 pm Sausage race
10. 2.20 pm ‘Egg’ & Spoon race
11. 2.30 pm Musical Chairs
12. 2.45 pm Junior Handling (all receive a prize)
13. 2.55 pm Adult Handling
14. 3.10 pm Cup of water race
15. 3.20 pm Fancy Dress Competition
16. 3.40 pm Mini Agility (prize for clearest, also fastest round)

Cost of the above day’s events with lunch - £12.50 per person per dog – which includes: tea/coffee on arrival (this is also free to family members/friends who have paid for lunch).
NOTE: Please collect your lunch tickets on arrival from the Kerry Blue Terrier Association secretary: Pat Munro or treasurer: Lyndia Salmon.
(Lunch is available to other family members/friends at £7.00 per person - please book in
advance). Complimentary cake & wine at the end of the day.
