A Winter Project
Paul and I have been working on another part of this project. We needed a way of giving information about our Breeds to press/media and visitors to this site in an interesting and concise manner. Breed Clubs and Breeders sites will give full information - we just need a summary.
So we have begun to set up a Wiki. Using the same software as the well known Wikipedia. At the moment, we have only done the breed we know intimately - the Dandie Dinmont, but it has enabled us to make a template for everyone to use for their breeds.
We don't know your breeds as well as you do! So this Wiki, as you can do in Wikipedia, will be created and maintained by everyone. Eventually, when we've finished the technical side, all registered users of this site will be able to edit the whole of the Wiki and it will be up to all of us to check that information and question it if necessary, to correct typos and generally keep it tidy!

This is quite a big project and we really should/want to have it finished before 'next season'!
