Not this year, too little time and we need to get really well established first. The last couple of months has been amazing, but there is still much to do - Hils and I continue to work of various projects in the background watch for announcements from time to time!
Both Hils and I believe there would be little point in having a stand with the layout as it is now, that has already been done and to a certain extent provides a duplication of effort. However if the British Heritage Breeds were moved to a special separate area then we believe it would be valid to have a stand to support the breeds and explain the project. To do that and to persuade the Events Department of the KC to provide us with a seperate area, we would need to secure the backing of a significant number of our breeds and the teams who organise the booths, without a consensus there would be little point in talking to the KC.
I personally think it would be worth trying this, we somehow need to stand out from all the other breeds as at the moment we are just another group of breeds in the never ending lines of breed booths!
I did write a page one article on this very topic which has just had it's first reply. I hope to be at DD next month so perhaps I will try and speak to bred booth people and sound them out.
This year we have a new venue so it would probably not have been a good time to ask for a major change to the layout anyway.
