I'm using my column in this week's (Nov 25th) Dog World to continue to push for reduced registration fees and free entry to Crufts for British Heritage Breeds.

Have my proposals got legs, are they something all British Heritage Breeds can support or are they just so much hot air?

Tell me what you think!

Well, I'm with you.

The KC seem to be more interested in promoting recently imported rare breeds than with heritage breeds.

Thanks poodlet!

We saw how people got together against coat testing. It was a simple campaign that was easily understood and (whatever the rights and wrongs of the case) a lot of people got behind it.

I think we need somthing similar. A simple concrete issue we can all rally round. Pushing for reduced registration fees and/or free entry to Crufts for British heritage breeds could be that issue.

Even if we aren't successful we force the KC to address our concerns.

This can only work, however, if enough of us are prepared to campaign for it!
