Paul decided, for one last time as his doppelganger, Crosby, is an elderly gentleman now, to enter the 'Look a Like' Competition to see if they still had that old magic. You may remember that both of them had previously been banned from entering these competitions therefore it was with great delight and surprise that they won!
Groomed by Sheila and shown by Paul, Jackson, their youngest home-bred Dandie stormed through the ranks to win Best in Show.
But they still managed to carry out the work of the day. Nearly 50 'Meet & Greet' cards were handed out to interested visitors to the show. These little business cards give people links to find out more about Dandie Dinmonts, a little of the history and the message 'you've just met at Dandie Dinmont Terrier'. Paul says: "There is no better breed promotion than the one to one contact you get from people when you take your dogs out for a walk or a day out.".
It certainly was a day to remember!
[Ed. Note: these cards are easily printed on a domestic printer and are a great idea to promote any of our British Heritage Dog Breeds]
