For example we will have breed founders, His Grace, Henry, the 2nd Duke of Newcastle from Clumber Park with his Clumber Spaniels and Captain Edwards of Sealyham Mansion in Wales with his pack of Sealyham Terriers. From the world of literature watch out for Bill Sykes and his mini Bull Terrier "Bullseye" from Charles Dickens' 'Oliver Twist' and Mr Dandie Dinmont and his Terriers from Sir Walter Scott's Waverley Novel 'Guy Mannering'.
Expect a few surprises too as some breeds have come up with some truly original and fun ideas! If you are at Crufts on the Saturday, which is Toy and Utility day, do please come along and support our breeds.

We guarantee that the Grand Finale, when all twenty breeds form a circle and walk round to the sound of Land of Hope and Glory ringing out over the arena, will be a moving and unforgettable moment. If you are unable to make it, you will be able to tune in and watch it live on the internet as part of the live streaming coverage from the arena via the Crufts TV web site.
The final running order is yet to be finalised so please watch for future announcements on this British Heritage Dog Breeds website.
Finally a huge thank you to all the breed volunteers (who are taking part entirely at their own expense) for their dedication and commitment to their breeds and the BHDB project.
