"Manchesters and their owners took part in the St George’s Day parade on the streets of Manchester city. Getting to the start of the parade was a bit of a nightmare as all the diversions due to street closures for the parade confused everybody’s sat navs. But they all arrived in costume and with the Club’s banner that Bill Hague made for us, so that no one could be in any doubt that the dogs were Manchester Terriers. Ann & Chris Harrison arranged the day for the Club and she says that they had a ball walking down crowd lined streets with the sounds of clapping and “Aaaahh Dogeeees”. |
